INFLUENCE OF TEXT SATURATION WITH SPECIAL TERMINOLOGY ON THE FREQUENCY OF EXPLANATIONS IN SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL TRANSLATION

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the saturation of the text by special terminology as a factor that potentially affects the frequency and distribution of explanations in the scientific and technical translation. It explains how the degree of saturation with special terminology is related to the competence of the participants in the discourse on the subject of consideration, and how these parameters are displayed on the corresponding R. Arnts rating scale.
