“THE SIMPSONS” NEW WORDS TRANSLATION PECULIARITIES

Abstract

The article draws attention to the complexities of “The Simpsons” new words translation. The author gives examples of apt and ill-considered options of translation from English into Ukrainian. The article emphasizes the necessity of choosing the translation methods helping to save lexical and semantic features of new words, thus promoting intercultural communication and better understanding of the original language.
