SUBFIELD OF VERACITY IN THE FUNCTIONAL-SEMANTIC FIELD OF MODALITY IN MODERN CHINESE

Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the means and methods of implementation of modality veracity in modern Chinese. It has been proved that the semantic category of veracityhas to be deeply researched. The subfield of veracity has been distinguished on the basis of the semantic category, as well as its constituents – the core zone and its peripherals – have been analized.
