LEXICOGRAPHICAL SPECIFICITY OF A DICTIONARY FOR REHABILITATION TERMINOLOGY (CASE STUDY OF FRENCH-UKRAINIAN AND UKRAINIAN-FRENCH DICTIONARIES)

Abstract

The article analyzes the features of composing French-Ukrainian and Ukrainian-French dictionary of rehabilitation terminology. The registry of dictionary covers more than 3,500 terms to name means and methods of rehabilitation and
devices (about 1,550 terms), the occupations in physical rehabilitation (about 100 terms), scales and tests (about 300 terms), abbreviations (about 550 terms), the most common defects, disorders and diseases (about 1,000 terms). Lexicographical database of the dictionary is formed due to the works related to rehabilitation sphere. The scientist had the opportunity to review and analyze de visu.
