THE PROBLEMS OF THE FRENCH JOURNALISM RENDERING

Abstract

The article deals with the issues related to the translation of French journalism, it’s general characteristic is given. The different types of translation with the definition of each of them are considered, the attention is focused on lexical structures
transformation methods in the translation from French into Russian. The important point in this study is to find the correct choice of polysemantic word or expression meaning, which would as accurate as possible match the meaning of the original. The phraseological units, situational idioms and techniques that contribute to their adequate translation are studied.
