TO THE QUESTION OF LEXICO-STYLISTIC ARSENAL IN STUDY OF LITERATURE

Abstract

The play “Heartbreak house” by Bernard Shaw is thought to be the best masterpieces of the world literature, where the urgent problems actual for the peoples and different times are being considered. To such problems belong the relationship in the family, problems in social spheres and many interesting and instructive works have been written in different countries. We can find these topics in such novels as: “Father Goriot” by Honore de Balzac, “The Man of Property” by John
Galsworthy, “War and Peace” by L.N. Tolstoy, “Fathers and sons” by І.S. Turgenev and many others. The speech characteristic of the heroes of the following play has been analyzed in this work which helps us to make it possible not only to know the individual feature of the character, but the attitude to the surrounding environment.
