FUNCTIONING OF ENGLISH ECONOMIC TERMS AND PECULIARITIES OF TRANSLATING INTO UKRAINIAN

Abstract

The paper presents the review of economic terms linguistic peculiarities taking into account the monosemy, motivation and systematicity. Translation practice proves every term cannot be rendered using lexical equivalent in the language of translation. The paper outlines proper ways of terms translation from English into Ukrainian. Linguistic and extralinguistic factors influencing the choice are under analysis.
