HONORARY PROFESSIONAL TITLES IN GERMANY: LINGUISTIC AND EDUCATIONAL ASPECTS

Abstract

The article deals with the problems of honorary professional title in Germany. In German language there are words
“Meister” and “Oberingenieur”. These words may have various meanings. In some cases they can mean also honorary
professional titles to stimulate specialists for their achievements in professional activity. The author considers these titles
as cultural and social values in Germany.
