COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE SELECTED LYRICS BY MAKSYM RYLSKYI AND THE POEM BY RYCHARD LAVLEIS “TO ALTHEA, FROM PRISON”: THE BASE OF HEDONISM

Abstract

Aristocratic ideal and mysterial aspect in early lyrics by M. Rylskyi and the poem by the poet-cavalier Richard Lavleis “To Althea, from Prison” are under analysis. Antique context of described hedonism is researched, the common symbolic in this elitist poetry are analyzed.
