Abstract

The article presents the latest tendencies of English language training of students of non-linguistic specialties. The author singled out the characteristics of students as subjects of the learning process. The current trends of teaching foreign language which activate cognitive activity of students of non-linguistic specialties and motivate their communicative development are analysed.
