Abstract

The peculiarities of time-space in Shakespeare’s tragedy “Antony and Cleopatra” translated by Boris Ten. Difficulties of fulfillment the translation of space-time continuum lie primarily in the fact that the translator should make adequate interpretative decisions, keeping most of the secondary genre specific elements of text, mostly because their underestimation leads to disruption of composition, plot and other parameters of the work. Through adequate decision of translation, Boris Ten observes the principles concise, expressive detail and enhanced expressiveness, focusing on the time-space of the original and stylistic design corresponding text.
