Abstract

The article focuses on the animalistic discourse in the tales by H.C. Andersen. Animalism as a phenomenon of Romantism is analyzed from different scientific perspectives, besides are pointed out the characteristic features of these literary tales with the accent on the interconnection between the author and a character’s psychological image. Here is presented the systemic classification of these tales into types and groups.
