DEVELOPMENT OF METAPHOR IN THE CONTEXT OF POETIC TEXT

Abstract
The article identifies metaphorical expressions in the body of poetic text. It further formulates them into patters, investigates underlying conceptual metaphors and explores their dynamics throughout the text. In course of the research the structure of conceptual metaphors is being taken into focus as well as the context of their use.
